Title: Sales Lead

Base Location: Gurgaon (covering North & West India market for now)

About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Lead to lead the end-to-end sales, operations, and performance management of a high-growth city. This leadership role demands strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong team- building capabilities. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 7-12 years of experience in gold loan services or financial sectors and a proven track record of delivering aggressive growth through empowered teams.


Key Responsibilities:

Own and achieve sales targets as per the Annual Operating Plan through daily, rigorous field sales activities. Foster a sales-first, high-performance culture across the organization. Continuously optimize incentive structures for employees and partners to control costs. Forecast workforce requirements for optimal headcount, avoiding over- or under-hiring. Maintain strong daily oversight of sales metrics and performance. Diversify sales channels to create a stable and predictable pipeline, removing fluctuations and volume spikes. Monitor competitors and market trends to recommend changes to products or schemes as needed. Motivate and empower the sales team with robust performance frameworks and incentives. Identify and establish offline distribution partnerships for sourcing high-value customers. Develop, monitor, and execute daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans and forecasts. Drive all national sales and marketing initiatives for the gold loan business.


Requirements:

7-12 years of experience in consumer lending or field sales organizations. Prior experience in gold loans is strongly preferred. Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing field sales teams. Strong ownership mindset – aggressive, target-driven, and execution-focused. The role involves regular on-ground travel (approximately 2–3 weeks per month). Comfortable working on ground with teams and partners. Candidates available to join with a minimal notice period preferred.
