Housekeeper

We are a luxury 8 room Bed & Breakfast on Cape Cod in West Harwich on the Dennis Port line, so right on the bus route. We are looking for a thorough housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards to clean common areas and guest rooms. This position can be part-time or full time, and we do offer some schedule flexibility. Our goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our property pristine. We will train right candidate. Pay based on experience and increased once job is mastered.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
  • Breakfast service
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Assist with laundry, primarily folding of laundry and stocking of linen closets
  • Maintain cleaning equipment (vacuums, etc.) in good condition
  • Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
  • Handle reasonable guest requests and inform supervisor
  • Check stocking levels of linens and cleaning supplies
  • Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
  • Other tasks may be available for those who want additional hours

Skills

  • Proven working experience in hospitality preferred, willing to train
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Reliable - show up to work on time, giving ample notice if absence is necessary
  • Honesty in all aspects of the job
  • Positive attitude
  • Able to lift & carry laundry baskets, vacuum, climb stairs
  • Fluent in English language

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 – 35 per week
