Position Title: HR Recruiter – Blue Collar Recruitment
Department: Human Resources – Recruitment
Reporting To: HR Manager / Management

Position Summary:

The HR Recruiter – Blue Collar Recruitment is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring blue-collar and operational staff required for hospital operations. The role focuses exclusively on recruitment and manpower fulfilment for positions such as housekeeping staff, ward assistants, drivers, and other support roles essential for hospital functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Manpower Recruitment

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for support staff positions including housekeeping, ward boy, patient care assistants, ambulance drivers, car drivers, security, helpers, and other operational roles.
  • Understand manpower requirements from department heads and initiate hiring accordingly.
  • Source candidates through job portals, local networks, field hiring, referrals, and agencies.

Screening & Selection

  • Conduct initial screening and basic interviews.
  • Verify candidate availability, work readiness, and suitability for hospital work environment.
  • Coordinate interviews with department supervisors or management.

Hiring & Joining Coordination

  • Ensure selected candidates complete joining formalities.
  • Coordinate with administration for accommodation or deployment when required.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and joining records.

Recruitment Planning

  • Maintain a continuous pipeline for frequently required positions.
  • Support urgent manpower needs across hospital departments.
  • Ensure quick turnaround time for vacancies.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of candidates interviewed, selected, and joined.
  • Provide regular recruitment status updates to management.

Scope of the Role

This position is strictly focused on recruitment activities only and does not involve payroll processing, attendance management, employee engagement programs, or other HR operational responsibilities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Any Degree (HR specialization preferred).
  • Experience in blue-collar or bulk hiring preferred.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to source candidates through field networks and referrals.
  • Quick decision-making and hiring coordination ability.
