Position Title: HR Recruiter – Nursing Recruitment
Department: Human Resources – Recruitment
Reporting To: HR Manager / Management

Position Summary:

The HR Recruiter – Nursing Recruitment is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified Staff Nurses for the hospital. The role focuses on maintaining a continuous pipeline of nursing professionals to meet the hospital’s ongoing staffing needs and ensure uninterrupted patient care services.

Key Responsibilities:

Nurse Recruitment

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment of Staff Nurses for hospital departments.
  • Source candidates through nursing colleges, job portals, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Build a strong database of qualified nurses for current and future requirements.

Candidate Screening

  • Review qualifications, registrations, and relevant clinical experience.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews and shortlist suitable candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews with nursing supervisors and hospital management.

Hiring Coordination

  • Support selected candidates through the joining process.
  • Coordinate with administration regarding accommodation or onboarding arrangements.
  • Ensure timely replacement of nurses when vacancies arise.

Pipeline Development

  • Maintain continuous communication with nursing institutes and training centers.
  • Develop long-term recruitment sources to meet hospital nursing demands.
  • Track attrition trends and prepare hiring plans accordingly.

Recruitment Tracking

  • Maintain records of applicants, interviews, selections, and joining.
  • Submit regular updates on recruitment progress and vacancy status.

Scope of the Role

This role is fully dedicated to recruitment of nursing staff only and does not include payroll, attendance management, employee engagement activities, grievance handling, or other HR functions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Any Degree (HR specialization preferred).
  • Experience in healthcare or nurse recruitment is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work with nursing institutes and large candidate pools.
  • Good follow-up and candidate management ability.
