<strong>Summary:<br><br></strong>We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensed Employee Benefits Inside Sales Agent to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive advisory support and selling group employee benefits solutions. The successful candidate will act as an Employee Benefits Advisor and inside sales producer, demonstrating a thorough understanding of employee benefits, insurance products, and the value they bring to clients.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li> Employee Benefits Sales:</li><li>Drive sales of group employee benefits solutions to businesses of all sizes. </li><li>Identify and target prospective clients through various sales techniques. </li><li>Manage inbound/outbound calls and emails to and from prospective clients of traditional direct and program business pipelines. </li><li>Managing multiple opportunities through sequential stages of sales process: initial prospect meeting, gather and confirm minimum required data for accurate generation of healthcare cost analysis quotes, request for proposal data gathering, benefits comparison, technology demonstration, proposal presentation, and close. </li><li>Present and sell Decisely products and services to prospective clients. </li><li>Achieve sales target by meeting sales metrics that drive business goals </li><li>Interface with prospective clients, business development, client onboarding and other team members to fully understand client needs and service expectations. </li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. </li><li> Advisory Services:</li><li>Act as an Employee Benefits Advisor, providing expert guidance on benefit plan options. </li><li>Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend the most suitable benefit solutions. </li><li>Educate clients on the advantages of different employee benefit plans. </li><li> Client Support:</li><li>Collaborates and partners with internal constituents such as Implementation, Client Onboarding and Client Engagement Teams </li><li>Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly on the front end of the partnership. </li><li> Product Expertise:</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employee benefits products and industry trends. </li><li>Utilize expertise as a Licensed Employee Benefits Agent to recommend the best insurance solutions. </li><li>Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting employee benefits. </li><li>Technology savvy, having a curiosity and propensity to learn more about computers, software and other tools that make business more effective and productive. </li><li> Sales Process Management:</li><li>Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals. </li><li>Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities and client interactions. </li><li>Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Licensed Employee Benefits Agent with relevant certifications. </li><li>Proven experience in group employee benefits sales. </li><li>Strong understanding of employee benefits and insurance products. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to analyze client needs and recommend effective solutions. </li><li>Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools. </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>At least 2 years of experience related to our industry, including insurance, benefits, human resources, broker/agency, technology/software applications. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Key Competencies:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Full knowledge of employee benefit plans including medical (including Medical Essential Coverage plans), dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary worksite plans and services. </li><li>Knowledge of healthcare funding arrangements (i.e., fully-insured, level-funded, and self-funded) and Stop-loss provisions. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and time management abilities. </li><li>Strong ability to multi-task and assign priorities. </li><li>Ability to work effectively and efficiently both with and without direct supervision. </li><li>Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced team environment, as well as independently. </li><li>Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral. </li><li>Position continually requires teamwork, demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy, and ability to handle confidential information. </li><li>Highly organized and process driven; he/she can manage a multitude of requests, details, and follow-ups. </li><li>Demonstrated experience with Agency Management Systems and/or Client Relationship Management Systems. </li><li>An inquisitive nature, always pressing to know more and understand more about the client and his/her needs. </li><li>Strong analytical skills enabling one to gather data and present it in a clear and understandable method to the receiving audience. </li><li>Technology savvy, having a curiosity and propensity to learn more about computers, software and other tools that make business more effective and productive. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Education and/or Experience:<br><br></strong><ul><li>At least 2 years of experience related to our industry, including insurance, benefits, human resources, broker/agency, technology/software applications. </li><li>B2B sales experience highly preferred. </li><li>College degree and industry-related professional designations are preferred. </li><li>Life and Health License required. </li><li>Benefits administration and/or client management a plus. </li><li>Advanced knowledge of navigating the Internet as well as various Microsoft Office programs to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote & Excel. </li><li>SaaS technology support experience, preferred. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Demands:<br><br></strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
