Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the business segment that brings stories and characters to life through innovative and engaging physical products and digital experiences across more than 100 product categories.

About the Role

The Product & Graphic Design Intern would lend creative support to the Singapore/Malaysia product design team to meet and surpass the PD objectives for FY26/FY27.

Product Development

  • Be part of the team to work with partners to develop Disney products for 2026/2027.
  • Work with key partners across Singapore/Malaysia or APAC to drive product innovation and push the boundaries for creativity across softlines, home & hardlines category.
  • Work with commercial team and product design team to develop compelling product design proposals for pitching to new partners.

Creative/Graphic Design

  • Work with the product team to ideate unique product story and develop redesigned illustrations and graphics for our franchise to support our key partners’ product development.
  • Research graphic/art trends that is relevant not only for our local markets but also regionally/globally. 

Trend Research

  • Take forward the global macro trends and adapt to local version, with key focus on Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
  • Drive product development and new business opportunities with these trends

Overall

  • Actively participate and support brainstorming sessions, product development ideation and reviews.
  • Think creatively to produce new concepts/ideas, while working with available assets
  • Liaise with other creative members and commercial team to learn synergy for building the consumer product business. 

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree/diploma
  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between July to December 2026

Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree/diploma in Media Art, Design Art, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Product/Industrial Design, or a related field
  • Proficient in relevant design and presentation program and tools such as: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects, 3D modelling softwares, Keynote.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Knowledge or interest in Illustrations, 3D, Video Editing is a plus
  • Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel
  • A keen eye for aesthetics, color, style, forms and trends plush a strong attention to detail
  • Creative, capable of bringing forth ideas and concepts that contribute to our product development and overall projects.
  • Passionate team player with a never-ending curiosity
  • Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
