Our work depends on an IT Services Leader to build strategy, provide operational excellence, and help position GDIT as a strategic partner with the Department of State Diplomatic Security. As an IT Services Leader, you will promote GDIT's brand awareness and position GDIT as a strategic delivery partner. The ideal candidate has relationships with key decision makers in the DOS organization as well as experience successfully managing major programs. You will help the A meet emerging mission needs, provide leadership and foster a high performing team environment, help GDIT continue to grow and expand the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with DoS to align GDIT capabilities and strengths to meet mission needs
  • Develop and leverage relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Strengthen alignment of GDIT organizational capabilities to client needs
  • Participate in all phases of the capture and growth life-cycle, providing the 'voice of the customer', including reviews and proposal and content development

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain up to a Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, 10+ years of leadership experience
  • Candidates must have in-depth leadership experience supporting programs at DoS Diplomatic Security
  • Proven experience driving culture change and leading a dynamic mission-focused teams
  • Strong strategic development and implementation experience, directing large teams
  • Experience with federal proposal processes, delivery and execution
  • Proven aptitude for teaching, coaching and mentoring
  • Local to the DC metro area and ability to travel to customer sites, as needed, is required
