Job Description

The Murang'a County Government is actively seeking an experienced, diligent, and highly motivated Janitorial Supervisor to lead and manage our comprehensive cleaning and sanitation operations across various county facilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of janitorial staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all designated county facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance of all tools.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
  • Oversee waste management and recycling programs within county facilities.
  • Coordinate with other departments for special cleaning projects or event support.
  • Address and resolve any cleaning-related complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
