The Role
The Monetization Analyst will play a critical role in leveraging data-driven insights to identify new revenue streams and optimize pricing strategies within Lumen. This position combines advanced analytics, financial modeling, and strategic thinking to support monetization initiatives and drive profitable growth. The role requires strong collaboration across marketing, sales, and pricing teams, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with executives and stakeholders.
The Main Responsibilities
Financial Modeling & Analysis
- Develop and apply financial models to evaluate pricing strategies and monetization opportunities.
- Interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights for leadership.
Pricing & Marketing Integration
- Apply the principles of pricing (“P”) in alignment with marketing strategies.
- Partner with marketing teams to support product positioning, bundling, and promotional strategies.
Data Analytics & AI Enablement
- Lead efforts to analyze customer behavior, pricing performance, and competitive trends.
- Utilize advanced analytics and AI tools to identify new revenue streams, migration opportunities, and product bundling strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Provide daily interaction and direction to marketing, special pricing, sales, and project teams.
- Communicate objectives, changes, and insights clearly to team members and executives.
Research & Market Intelligence
- Direct research initiatives on customer behavior, pricing results, and competitive data.
- Summarize and report findings to inform pricing and monetization strategies.
Project Management & Recurring Initiatives
- Drive end-to-end management of monetization projects, from planning and resource allocation to execution and delivery, ensuring initiatives are completed on time and within scope.
- Continued tracking of process flywheels including ongoing improvements, performance tracking, stakeholder alignment, and feedback to enhance efficiency and maximize revenue impact.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or monetization strategy.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI) and familiarity with AI-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Skills

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
