Our core values include embracing differences, and we seek candidates who are passionate about building a culture that encourages, embraces, and hires dimensions of differences.</p><p></p><p><b>As an part-time/on-call employee, you might work zero to 30 hours per week, depending on our workload.</b></p><p></p><p><b><u>Our Work</u></b></p><p>A Lead Product Manager in our practice:</p><ul><li>Serves as a leader on federal client engagements, shapes the Agile team and processes for success and drives the backlog of work in the right direction</li><li>Is a consultant first; able to effectively represent our practice’s product management playbook and the services we sell in the way they do their work, while also tailoring their approach on a project-by-project basis to deliver value to their teams and customers</li><li>Uncovers and articulates the needs and goals of the client organization as they relate to the contract and product; Loves to dig in and make sense of things, can quickly get smart on a new program or subject matter</li><li>Collaborates with a variety of internal and external experts, facilitates conversations and workshops to brainstorm and get buy-in for decisions</li><li>Generates clear and compelling artifacts to explain the product vision, strategy, process, target outcomes, progress toward those outcomes, and high-level requirements to a variety of audiences</li><li>Brings a minimum viable product (MVP) mindset to everything they do, keeps the team focused on what matters in different phases and minimizing risks, while also creating time, space, and confidence amongst our teams to innovate and deliver the best results long-term</li><li>Manages and plans Agile work across multiple workstreams, can effectively balance and steer discovery and delivery tasks to drive the backlog and deliver value to users continuously</li><li>Is a team player with excellent problem-solving and consensus-building skills; fosters a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation, honesty, and best ideas forward</li><li>Is an active member of our product practice; contributes to our community by building relationships across the company, mentoring others, creating and collecting best practices, supporting proposal writing, other internal initiatives that help us grow and thrive</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Required Qualifications:</u></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree</li><li>5+ years of professional experience in a digital product delivery role</li><li>3+ years direct product management or product strategy experience on an Agile team (e.g. as a product owner or product manager)</li><li>2+ years experience in a professional consulting role</li><li>1+ years experience leading virtual workshops that employ human-centered design, design thinking, or generative brainstorming techniques</li><li>Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, must reside in the United States</li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Professional Skills:</b></u></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, professional experience on integrated cross-functional Agile teams that include discovery functions such as user research and UX design SMEs</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Proficient with product management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Mural</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></b></p><ul><li>Experience working with distributed remote-first teams</li><li>Experience working on federal contracts in a variety of engagement models and team sizes, including custom open-source development, low-code/no-code solutions, data projects, and management consulting related roles</li><li>Agile Product management training or certifications such as SAFeÒ POPM, Pragmatic, Product School or equivalent</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Working at ICF</b></u></p>ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we’re not your typical consultants.
