Legal Operations and Contract Manager - Remote US

The Opportunity In this role as a Legal Operations and Contract Manager, you'll work closely with teams across the whole company, reporting directly to the Associate General Counsel you will work with teams in Finance, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Security, and Sales. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that legal processes flow smoothly, contracts are managed proficiently, and procurement functions operate efficiently, providing a backbone for the diverse functions that drive our business forward. Responsibilities • Oversee contract lifecycle, ensuring timely renewals or terminations. Maintain meticulous records of all agreements and collaborate with legal counsel to standardize contract templates. • Lead coordination efforts between departments to fulfill legal obligations and implement legal operational policies. Support legal operations initiatives and manage Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems. Organize legal compliance training for various teams and assist with the adoption of legal tech tools to enhance department efficiency. • Assess potential legal risks in contractual agreements and develop appropriate risk management protocols and guidelines. Analyze contract clauses carefully to identify risks and recommend necessary modifications to mitigate those risks. • Negotiate terms with vendors and monitor their performance to ensure compliance with contracts. Build and maintain robust relationships with key contacts, and resolve contract issues promptly. Regularly review contracts for potential optimization and renewals. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect all necessary information for evaluating contracts. Propose modifications to improve alignment with company interests and collaborate with legal counsel for precise contract language and understanding of implications. Ensure contract reviews are completed swiftly to adhere to business timelines. • Implement best practices to streamline contract management, and work with Ops and tech teams to automate routine business tasks. Monitor and adjust new processes to ensure efficacy and adoption. Develop and report on metrics to assess the performance of these processes to management. • Work closely with department heads to align contract terms with business objectives and provide guidance on contractual rights and obligations. Ensure all stakeholders are informed of contract duties in a timely manner. Regularly review and update standard contract language and templates. • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for procurement, providing guidance on sourcing strategies, vendor selection, and best practices. • Own and manage the full procurement lifecycle — from requisition and RFP development to vendor evaluation, purchase order creation, onboarding, and contract execution. • Establish and maintain procurement policies and workflows to support compliance, arenaflex savings, and vendor accountability. • Collaborate with Finance and department leaders to forecast procurement needs, manage budgets, and ensure strategic alignment with business goals. • Drive consistent and transparent procurement practices across the organization, supporting scalability and operational excellence.
