Legal Ops Specialist

Job Description: • Maintain and optimize legal department tools, systems, and databases (e.g., contract lifecycle management, document management, e-billing). • Track legal team performance metrics and report on KPIs. • Assist in managing vendor relationships, outside counsel billing, and budgeting. • Coordinate contract intake and approval workflows with cross-functional teams (Sales, Procurement, Finance). • Support the implementation and adoption of legal technology solutions. • Create and maintain legal documentation, playbooks, and knowledge management systems. • Facilitate process improvements for contract review, compliance tracking, and other legal functions. • Collaborate with stakeholders across legal, compliance, and operations to drive strategic initiatives. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree required; a paralegal certificate, legal studies background, or JD is a plus. • 3+ years of experience in legal operations, legal project management, or contracts operations—preferably within a tech or SaaS environment. • Strong understanding of legal operations best practices, tools, and reporting. • Experience with legal technology platforms (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign, NetDocuments, SimpleLegal, or similar). • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and independently. • Comfortable working in a remote, distributed team environment.
