Licensing, Apparel & Accessories Lead

About the position

The Licensing, Apparel & Accessories Lead will lead strategic business development initiatives for Hosiery, Sleepwear, Underwear and Intimates portfolio. This role will drive brand elevation through premium and luxury licensing partnerships, analyze competitive landscape and identify white space opportunities, and develop and execute licensing strategies aligned with Ralph Lauren's brand vision. You will build effective relationships with cross-functional partners while driving financial planning and long-term sustainable growth initiatives for the assigned portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate potential licensing opportunities in Hosiery, Sleepwear, Underwear and Intimates sectors
  • Lead negotiation and structuring of licensing partnerships
  • Develop business cases and financial models for new ventures within portfolio
  • Monitor and report on market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on licensee compliance with brand standards and quality requirements
  • Drive NA wholesale strategies consistent with owned and operated business
  • Lead strategic business plans and sustainable growth initiatives
  • Ensure consistency of brand execution for licensed products across touch points (quality, design, pricing, presentation, region and channel)
  • Develop financial plans including LRP for assigned portfolio
  • Manage budget and P&L responsibilities for specified categories
  • Create and monitor financial metrics and KPIs for licensed businesses

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in licensing, business development, or brand management
  • Strong expertise in Intimate Apparel categories (Hosiery, Sleepwear, Underwear, Intimates)
  • Proven experience driving NA wholesale strategies and relationships
  • Experience in premium/luxury sector
  • Deep understanding of competitive landscape and market dynamics
  • Experience in structuring and managing licensing agreements and partnerships
  • Knowledge of brand building and elevation strategies
  • Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience
  • Proven analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
