eDiscovery Project Manager (Specialist in Relativity, Reveal or Everlaw) Position Summary: The eDiscovery Project Manager, specializing in Relativity, Reveal or Everlaw, plays a pivotal role in our organization, responsible for overseeing and managing e-discovery projects from inception to completion. This position requires a deep understanding of e-discovery processes, relevant technologies, and legal requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with case teams, law firms, clients, to ensure the efficient and defensible handling of electronically stored information (ESI). Responsibilities: • Project Management: • Collaborate with case teams to plan, manage, and execute e-discovery projects, encompassing all phases of the ESI lifecycle. • Prepare project recommendations, budgets, and comprehensive project plans. • Maintain clear communication with case teams and management regarding project status, ESI management issues, budget updates, and production planning. • Coordinate the production of ESI to external parties. • Track and manage received, loaded, and produced ESI, ensuring data integrity and quality. • Provide support for e-discovery and case management systems. • Best Practices and Consultation: • Consult with case teams on e-discovery best practices and tailor workflows to meet the unique needs of each case. • Implement standard e-discovery workflows and leverage advanced technology to achieve client objectives. • Stay informed about industry trends, relevant case law, and rulemaking, and advise on their application to specific cases. • Assist attorneys with Rule 26(f) conferences and other e-discovery-related meetings. • Collaborate with lawyers and clients to identify potentially relevant data through interviews and IT resources. • Process Improvement: • Collaborate with management and clients to identify and implement enhancements to processes, reporting, and documentation to improve service quality and client satisfaction. • Thoroughly document project details in the applicable tracking systems. Job Specifications: • In-depth knowledge of the e-discovery process, including evolving legal standards, industry trends, and e-discovery technologies such as Relativity, Reveal or Everlaw. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. • Proficiency in meeting strict deadlines under time constraints. • Commitment to delivering the highest quality service to both internal and external clients. Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree preferred. • Juris Doctor (JD) and litigation practice experience are advantageous. • Minimum of four years of experience managing e-discovery projects. • Extensive experience with e-discovery software and hardware, with specific expertise in Relativity being beneficial. Work Requirements: • This is a remote role. • Availability to monitor and respond to emails and phone calls after hours and on weekends.
