Managing Consultant

Job Description We are currently seeking a Managing Consultant to join our growing team. This is a core role within the Navitas Life Sciences business, where you will take the lead in building client relationships, delivering consultancy projects, and driving business development. An example of core job responsibilities expected in this role include the following: To lead a portfolio consultancy projects to ensure effective delivery of robust client solutions • To proactively own and lead project delivery from initial brief to final delivery – prime client contact • Work with clients to define requirements, scope projects, prepare business case and statement of work • Prepare project management plan, project structure, controls and reporting tools and routine status reports • Manage and track project scope, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, documentation, and timelines • To drive and manage project resources and profitability • Active leadership in client solutions to build the Navitas Life Sciences brand – acts as SME on projects and/or Navitas Life Sciences industry-leading Networks • Adds gravitas and subject matter expertise to the analysis, design and implementation of projects To own and build client relationships to generate revenue and drive business growth • Ongoing selling and marketing of Navitas Life Sciences services to contribute to revenue (of $500k) and sales growth • To conduct new business development activities and develop client focused, needs based proposals • To own client relationship to ensure effective communication, develop solutions and extend relationships (4-5 clients To coach and manage project teams to encourage team work and support development • To mentor, train, and coach project team members and colleagues (2-6 project team members) • To give direction, provide support and encourage team working • To set project objectives, provide routine feedback and support development for team members To act as a Navitas Life Sciences role model to lead company initiatives and collateral development • To be an active member of strategic themes, internal projects and/or business improvement initiatives • To develop collateral for projects/domain areas e.g. case studies, new concepts, PoV, best practice • Act as an internal SME – in defined area, to develop, capture and disseminate knowledge • Lead company meeting sessions, enthusiastically acts as a role model Desirable Skills and Experience • 8 years in a Life Science industry or consulting role of which: • 4 years in a Senior Consulting role • 3 years in a Life Sciences/Pharma industry role • 2 years in a business development role • Expertise in 1 of the following areas is preferred: • Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance • Clinical Development Processes • Labelling, Regulatory Affairs • Risk Management, Quality and Compliance Evidence of capability • Honed consulting skills - methodologies/tools • Compelling communication, strong facilitator • Strong client and stakeholder management: senior levels, social awareness • Excellent project management: manage complexity, resources and profitability • Good business development, and evidence of BD success $500k, to include: • Lead generation and networking • Conduct client briefs/senior stakeholder meetings • Scoping, requirements, business case definition • Development of needs based proposals • Negotiation and contract development • Account and relationship management • Good leadership skills, gravitas, self-starter US - Remote Strong degree (2:1 in a relevant subject area (e.g. Science or industry related) PhD or MBA preferable Manager Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance Full Time Apply tot his job
