Mortgage Loan Processor (Mountain/Pacific Time Zone)

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor who enjoys owning the loan process from application through closing and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and compliance. In this role, you will manage residential loan files end to end, support Loan Originators with high quality processing, and help deliver a smooth and professional experience for borrowers and internal partners. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and confidently manages multiple priorities. About This Position • This role is fully remote • Candidates located in the Mountain or Pacific time zones are preferred ​​​​​Duties and Responsibilities • Process residential mortgage loans from application through closing while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance • Review loan data entered by Loan Originators or branch personnel to confirm accuracy and resolve discrepancies • Enter and maintain complete and accurate loan information in the loan origination system to ensure disclosures and documentation are generated correctly and on time • Prepare and deliver required disclosures and regulatory notices within mandated timeframes • Review loan applications and supporting documentation such as tax returns, bank statements, and paystubs to identify missing or additional information needed for underwriting • Request and verify income, asset, and liability documentation in accordance with Dodd Frank, Appendix Q, and investor guidelines • Calculate borrower income and debt ratios in alignment with regulatory and investor requirements • Manage a pipeline of twenty five or more loan files while meeting deadlines and keeping loans moving toward closing • Monitor loan files to ensure compliance with applicable federal lending regulations including Regulations Z, X, B, and C • Perform required regulatory testing and ensure results are properly documented in each loan file • Update and maintain reports used to track pipeline status and outstanding items • Proactively follow up with borrowers, Loan Originators, and third parties to obtain missing documentation and resolve issues • Maintain organized, complete, and audit ready loan files • Provide responsive, courteous, and professional service to internal and external customers • Follow all company policies, procedures, confidentiality, and data security requirements • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support business operations Required Skills and Experience • Three or more years of mortgage loan processing experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans • Three or more years of experience running AUS including DU, LP, and GUS • Experience ordering and reviewing transcripts, title, homeowner’s insurance, verification of employment, fraud reports, and FHA Connection documentation • Strong working knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations • General banking and mortgage industry knowledge • Experience working with self employed borrowers is a plus • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines in a high volume environment • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency with Outlook, arenaflex Word, and Excel • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Loan Originators, underwriters, and operations teams • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and building positive working relationships ADA and EO Statement: GoPrime Mortgage will make reasonable accommodations to qualified applicants in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
