**Summary:**

Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care according to BayCare role specific responsibilities. Directed by the RN. Assist with patient care without purposefully encountering any body fluids (i.e., blood, urine, stool, saliva, dirty linens, emesis, etc.) or any devices that contain body fluids (such as but not limited to, urinary catheters, nasogastric tubes, drains, used basins, etc.). Also performs at least one of the following roles: Mobility Assistant, Transport Assistant, or cross trained in the role of a Visual Monitor Technician.

**Required Qualifications:** Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Standard WELLE® training is required. Must complete Nurse Helper training class prior to orientation on the nursing unit.
