Under the supervision of the OR Charge Nurse & Service Coordinators, assists with room set up, room turn over and case cart transport, assesses sub-sterile core supply stock. May assist with case cart management duties if needed. </font></font></p><p></p><p></p><font face="Times New Roman"><font face="Times New Roman"> <p><b>EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: </b></p><p>A minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience, similar experience to patient identification and authentication, or recent work experience in a hospital is preferred.</p> <p><b>EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: </b></p><p>High School diploma or equivalent is required. </p> <p></p> <p><b>SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: </b></p><p>Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when performing duties, resolving supply and equipment problems, and when communication with surgical team members. Ability to use general medical support equipment, including multiple OR devices; understand and follow instructions, as well as give clear directions to others in need of assistance and guidance; good listening skills. Ability to use standard office equipment including computers, fax, copy, document scanners, and tube stations.
