<p><b>Who we are looking for</b></p><p></p><p>State Street’s Global Markets division (SSGM) is looking for a candidate with 6 to 8 years of experience in Client Onboarding/KYC/Drafting Legal Agreements. Knowledge of OTC Derivatives, Prime Broker and Legal Agreements will be an added advantage.</p><p></p><p><b>Why this role is important to us</b></p><p></p><p>The team that you will be joining is a part of SSGM’s Client Service Solutions focused on servicing Sales and Trading clients. When owners and managers of institutional assets need research, trading, securities lending and innovative portfolio strategies, they turn to SSGM business unit. As our investment research and trading arm, SSGM’s number one goal is to enhance and preserve our clients’ portfolio values by applying technology, optimizing trading, and linking asset classes and markets across the world.</p><p></p><p><b>What you will be responsible for</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Perform both client facing and onboarding functions for Custody and Third-party accounts</p></li><li><p>Conduct independent research to gather and record data from external sources while onboarding the client</p></li><li><p>Liaise with Legal, Sales, IT, KYC and internal teams and external clients when the required documents/information are not available at the time of onboarding the accounts</p></li><li><p>Draft Legal agreements and get it executed by clients</p></li><li><p>Perform Legal Agreement Amendments and get it executed</p></li><li><p>Ensure all the clients are onboarded in a timely manner</p></li><li><p>Update relevant data and map accounts in State Street’s in-house systems </p></li><li><p>Research and resolve client inquires and service related requests</p></li><li><p>Identify unique counterparty structures and escalate for resolution</p></li><li><p>Respond to queries regarding the status of specific requests or new clients in a timely manner</p></li><li><p>Track and monitor potential onboarding issues and delays</p></li><li><p>Resolve and escalate issues proactively and in a timely manner</p></li><li><p>Help monitor KPIs to ensure a high level of service</p></li><li><p>Evaluate and enhance processes and procedures on an ongoing basis</p></li><li><p>Prepare process related SOPs/Job Aids and train team members on the process</p></li><li><p>Maintain and continuously develop knowledge around core products of business unit and key applications in use by the business unit</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we value</b></p><p>Skills & Knowledge</p><ul><li><p>Prior Client Onboarding/KYC experience would be a plus</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills in oral and written forms</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate a high Standard of Care when drafting/amending the legal agreements and updating/mapping the accounts in our in-house systems</p></li><li><p>Strong team player and good professional interaction with other team members and workgroups</p></li><li><p>Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving skills and "can do" attitude</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to identify and appropriately escalate issues and risks</p></li><li><p>Perform work independently on specific assignments</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail</p></li><li><p>An ability to apply lessons learnt to future work</p></li><li><p>The desire to see an issue through to completion</p></li><li><p>The desire to play a part in issue resolution</p></li><li><p>Pride in one’s personal work and an understanding of how it impacts the organization</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education & Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>M.Com/MBA in Finance</p></li><li><p>Excel expert and low code experience </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Additional requirements</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Experience: </b>8 to 10 years of experience</p></li><li><p><b>Shift Timings:</b> EMEA / NA </p></li><li><p><b>Work Location:</b> Mumbai</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About State Street</b></p><p><b>What we do.</b> State Street is one of the largest custodian banks, asset managers and asset intelligence companies in the world.
