Ops and Procurement Manager

As the Manager of Procurement and School Operations at Delhi Public School Institutions in Delhi NCR, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the procurement processes, vendor management, and school operations for two institutions catering to over 4,200 students and 200 staff members. Your primary duties will include: - Identifying and evaluating potential vendors and contractors - Sourcing competitive quotes - Conducting detailed comparisons - Setting performance metrics for vendors - Leading procurement activities - Developing strategies for cost-effective purchasing - Monitoring budgets - Ensuring timely delivery of materials and services aligned with the schools' needs In terms of school operations management, you will be in charge of: - Overseeing daily operations such as transport, inventory, housekeeping, and security - Tracking inventory through an ERP system - Monitoring operational reports - Collaborating with academic and administrative teams to provide seamless support Budget and expense management will also fall under your purview, including: - Streamlining budget submissions - Ensuring efficient expense management - Adhering to financial guidelines As the ideal candidate, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, and operations. You should possess strong negotiation, project management, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement software. The ability to multitask, work under pressure, and drive operational excellence is essential. Experience in managing operations in schools or large institutions is preferred.
