<p>We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll be a key contributor to our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing an excellent customer experience, ensuring fellow fans can find their favorite merchandise. You’ll leverage your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits, support daily operations, and meet sales targets.</p><h2>WHAT YOU\'LL DO</h2><ul><li>Provide an exceptional shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, showcasing your product knowledge, customer service skills, and enthusiasm for pop culture.</li><li>Step in and support the team when needed, including covering the sales floor and assisting the Manager.</li><li>Open and close the store as required, demonstrating trust and responsibility.</li><li>Operate the register, process transactions, and use your fandom knowledge to promote add-on sales and benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Also, manage register closeouts and communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager.</li><li>Understand and contribute to store sales plans, goals, and KPIs such as UPT and ADT.</li><li>Assist with planogram updates, including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising.</li><li>Communicate current fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.</li><li>Work with Store Management to prevent theft and ensure security measures are followed.</li><li>Help maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment.</li><li>Support the development of a passionate, collaborative team to run the store effectively.</li><li>Perform any other activities assigned by your Store Leader.</li></ul><h2>WHAT YOU\'LL NEED</h2><ul><li>At least 1 year of retail experience; a love for music and pop culture is a plus!</li><li>Strong communication, time management, professionalism, operational skills, and a drive to mentor others.</li><li>A high school diploma or GED.</li><li>The ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using approved equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.</li></ul> #J-18808-Ljbffr
