Your responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership ● Develop and implement a firmwide marketing and business development strategy. ● Meet with partners regularly to align on goals, opportunities, and priorities. ● Conduct market analysis and competitive positioning to inform decision-making. Brand Building and Communications ● Elevate and modernize the firm's brand while honoring its 100+ year legacy. ● Oversee messaging across practice areas, attorney bios, website content, and print materials. ● Manage PR, rankings submissions, thought leadership visibility, and announcements. Digital and Platform Management ● Lead all digital channels, including the website, SEO, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and analytics. ● Recommend and manage marketing technology tools and workflows. ● Maintain a consistent and professional online presence aligned with firm goals. Thought Leadership and Content Creation ● Ghostwrite or edit articles, alerts, blogs, newsletters, and speaking proposals. ● Create and manage a content calendar that highlights the firm’s expertise. ● Position attorneys for conferences, panels, CLEs, media opportunities, and publications. Business Development Support ● Build individualized BD plans for key partners. ● Support RFPs, proposals, pitch decks, and relationship development strategies. ● Identify new referral channels and market opportunities. Events and Engagement ● Coordinate sponsorships, conferences, and strategic event participation. ● Plan firm-hosted programs, webinars, or client seminars. Tracking and Reporting ● Monitor marketing metrics and provide monthly reporting. ● Review ROI, adjust tactics, and continuously refine strategy.. To be successful, you must bring: ● 5+ years of legal marketing experience, with strong exposure to litigation-focused firms. ● Proven history of leading marketing efforts independently. ● Demonstrated ability to advise partners and drive change.
