Position Overview:

At Clarington Kia, the Parts Advisor is responsible for providing support to wholesale and retail customers, as well as internal departments. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction in the parts department, building relationships with suppliers, managing incoming and outgoing inventory, and maintaining accurate documentation.

What You'll Do:

  • Sell parts to customers over the retail counter, over the phone, or via email. Provide price quotes and other related parts information as needed, carrying out sales promotions as they arise.
  • Assist in parts ordering from manufacturers and aftermarket vendors, parts retrieval from stockroom, stocking, returns, and maintaining all parts inventory to ensure that technicians are provided access to the appropriate parts for each repair.
  • Document and review files regularly to keep track of back-orders and return-to-vendor items.
  • Promote retail and wholesale sales by building relationships with external customers and maintaining positive relationships with all suppliers.
  • Handle customer complaints immediately and follow guidelines for interacting with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by management.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in a retail auto parts department role.
  • Proficiency in PBS Dealer Management System would be considered an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal relationship-building skills
  • Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ Driver’s License
  • Exceptional customer service skills
