About the Role


We are looking for a dynamic HRO – Payroll & Client Operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong communication skills and a keen interest in payroll and compliance operations.


Prior payroll experience is preferred but NOT mandatory—we are open to candidates who bring the right attitude, analytical mindset, and exceptional voice skills, with the ability to learn and grow in payroll operations.


Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end payroll support activities including managed and complex payroll scenarios


Support US payroll processes (W2, payroll escalations, issue resolution)


Ensure adherence to payroll compliance requirements and internal controls


Assist in payroll audits and data validations


Provide support for global payroll activities where applicable


Act as a key point of contact for client communication and payroll-related queries


Manage and resolve payroll escalations in a timely and professional manner


Build strong relationships through effective stakeholder and client account management


Deliver a seamless client-facing experience through clear communication and problem-solving


Key Skills & Competencies

Excellent voice and communication skills (Mandatory)


Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities


Client-facing experience with a customer-first mindset


Ability to understand and manage complex payroll scenarios


Good understanding of payroll audits and compliance (preferred)


Exposure to US payroll / global payroll is an added advantage


Strong attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines


Experience Requirements


SME experience: Minimum 3 years


Payroll experience: Minimum 2 years (preferred, not mandatory)


Experience in HRO, payroll operations, or client services will be an advantage


Education

Graduation: B.Com / M.Com


MBA from a reputed management school (preferred)
