Job Description: Position Summary The individual in this role will be responsible for conducting comprehensive pricing analyses and providing strategic insights to the pricing committee. Key responsibilities include evaluating the effectiveness of pricing deals to ensure they align with the TEBG Deal Price Governance Model, analyzing pricing outliers to identify trends and opportunities, and performing annual price change assessments. The role involves monitoring key performance indicators related to pricing effectiveness, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data, and developing pricing models to support decision-making. Additionally, the individual will support the implementation of pricing strategies across various sectors and work on improving pricing governance processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Conduct recurring price deal analysis to provide insights and recommendations to the pricing committee. Evaluate deal effectiveness to ensure alignment with “TEBG Deal Price Governance Model”. Analyze pricing outliers and deviations to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for pricing optimization. Perform annual price change analysis to assess price impact. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing deal effectiveness and governance, providing regular reports and insights to the pricing committee. Collaborate with cross-functional teams & pricing partners to gather data and insights for comprehensive pricing analysis. Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support decision-making processes. Support the implementation of pricing strategies across different areas, verticals, and product portfolios. Continuously improve deal pricing governance processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, economics, business administration, statistics, or a related field. An MBA or a master's degree can be an advantage. 10–12 years of relevant experience. Previous experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a related field is often required. Experience in a similar industry or with pricing models and strategies is beneficial. Familiarity with data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Power BI, VENDAVO, Snowflake, SQL, or specialized pricing software. Understanding of the transportation, automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries can be advantageous. Key Skills & Attributes Strong ability to analyze complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and accurately detect outliers and deviations in pricing data. Understanding of pricing strategies, structures, models, and governance frameworks, with the ability to develop and implement solutions for pricing optimization and governance improvements. Proficiency in presenting insights and recommendations clearly to the pricing committee and other stakeholders. Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights, and manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently. Proficiency in using analytical tools and software for data analysis and model development. A mindset focused on enhancing processes and methodologies for better efficiency and accuracy.
