<strong>Description<br><br></strong>The Creator team’s mission is to make Amazon the Earth’s most desired destination for commerce creators and their content. We own the Associates and Influencer programs and brands across Amazon to ensure a cohesive experience, expand creators’ opportunities to earn through innovation, and launch experiences that reinforce feelings of achievement for creators. Within Creators, our product team strives to make Amazon the best place for creators to earn. We collectively accomplish that mission by building best-in-class software for incentives and payments, insights and encouragement, storefronts and content, as well as foundational tech, including linking tools and user interfaces.<br><br>We are seeking a technical, experienced, results-oriented leader to oversee the strategy and product vision for a net new suite of products aimed at capturing greenfield opportunity in the content creator industry. This is a highly visible position requires a candidate with the proven ability to both “Dive Deep” and “Think Big” by understanding multiple different personas and user stories before developing an ambitious multi-customer vision and roadmap in collaboration with Engineering. These net new products may be a mix of API-first and traditional GUI, depending on the strategy, GTM, and plans developed. This leader will also work across functional domains, geographies, business lines, and even Amazon companies to innovate for creators. Successful candidates are leaders who can prioritize well, are technically excellent, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of innovating and delivering results. You should have strong customer obsession with the ability to dive deep, strong data/analytical skills, a self-starter spirit, and experience convincing senior leadership to invest in big ideas. You must be a strong owner and influencer, as well as someone who can think beyond the way things have always been done.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Monitor industry changes, technologies, and trends, determining when they should or shouldn't drive strategic, tactical, or roadmap shifts.</li><li> Lead for a suite of products and systems across 20+ countries, determining which creator-obsessed features and net new ideas to prioritize, build, and how/when/where to launch.</li><li> Constantly experiment, developing data-backed solutions for problems on behalf of customers and creators. Work in close partnership with our science team to test and learn iteratively. You will be responsible for setting experimentation priorities, guardrails, success metrics, and gaining approvals to execute innovative tests.</li><li> Own performance metrics and success criteria for your products during business-as-usual times as well as during critical high-velocity events, key levers for success of the channel.</li><li> Work with WW business development leads to navigate existing business logic and feature sets. Define requirements for new products and features leading Amazon to innovate in how we work with creators and help them reach current and future customers.</li><li> Create sustainable cross-functional and cross-product mechanisms to drive expansion and innovation while monitoring product and business health.</li><li> Reduce defects and improve business performance through innovation and automation. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
