Essential Functions

Responsible for providing support to Production by supplying and removing material to and from the production area and assisting the function areas of the Warehouse Department. Material handling of raw and finished goods for Production Operation. Operates efficiently in the related Production processes. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Transport raw, in process, or finished goods materials into and out of the production area.

2. Conduct SAP/MES transactions.

3. Use approved methods of obtaining materials, ensuring that correct materials are supplied and loaded into equipment

4. Recycle/remove waste as needed.

5. Safely and correctly transport materials and product around the plant.

6. Transfer product in and out of the Warehouse rack system

7. Cross training on one or more operations within the base production area you are assigned to, supporting MES transactions and production needs.

8. Responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of the process.

9. Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

Deliverables

  • Non-damaged, correct materials on a timely basis to the production departments.

  • Raw and finished material transactions with proper documentation of required data to guide logistics, quality, production and finance systems.

  • Supporting production functions to ensure the department is running efficiently

  • Accurate documentation.

Supervision

  • This position does not supervise any associates at any level.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Minimum Education:

This position has the following educational requirements:

  • Required Preferred Field(s) of Study

  • H.S, Diploma/GED

2. Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED

3. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities (KSA’s):

  • Verbal/Written communication

  • Forklift

  • Organizational

4. Physical Capacity Profile: 3
