As the leader of our production team, you'll oversee every aspect of beverage processing, ensuring that each bottle meets our standards for quality and taste. With your passion for manufacturing and your knack for leadership, you'll inspire our team to deliver excellence. Are you a leader with a passion for food production? As a Production Supervisor at our beverage facility, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the processing operations. Your role will involve leading a team of production associates, ensuring adherence to production schedules, and maintaining quality standards throughout the process. You'll coordinate with other departments to optimize production efficiency, monitor inventory levels, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies, as well as addressing any issues that arise during production. Your leadership and expertise will be critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our beverage facility. This position is located in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all production processes.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Lead, supervise, and support production associates.
  • Compose and deliver performance evaluations. Corrective action notices and provide constructive feedback.
  • Train, monitor, and enforce quality control standards.
  • Address and rectify issues affecting product quality.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose scalable solutions.
  • Implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
  • Enforce and promote safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular safety training for production personnel.
  • Effectively collaborate with site cross-functional partners. (e.g., quality, logistics, maintenance).
  • Relay information accurately, in detail, and respectfully effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Train new production employees.
  • Provide ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Address and resolve production-related issues promptly.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards. (OSHA, HACCP, etc.)
  • Keep abreast of industry regulations and update procedures accordingly.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules for production equipment.
  • Address equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Generate reports for management on production metrics.

Requirements

  • Two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a production environment.
  • One (1) or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Strong leadership background – ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce.
  • Ability to manage and develop employees.
  • Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
