<strong>Description<br><br></strong>Amazon Freight Ops Integrations is seeking an experienced Program Manager to drive operational excellence and strategic integration initiatives across our freight network. This role will be instrumental in scaling Amazon Freight's capabilities by managing complex, cross-functional programs that enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and drive business growth.<br><br>The ideal candidate will own end-to-end program management for freight operations integrations, working closely with internal stakeholders including Ship with Amazon, Amazon Logistics, and external partners including third-party carriers and freight forwarders. You will be responsible for defining program strategy, establishing operational frameworks, driving execution, and delivering measurable business outcomes.<br><br>Key responsibilities include leading integration projects from conception through launch, managing stakeholder alignment across multiple organizations, developing and tracking key performance metrics, identifying and mitigating operational risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will create and present business reviews to senior leadership, including Directors and VPs, and will be expected to write clear, data-driven narratives that inform strategic decision-making.<br><br>The successful candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence without authority. You will thrive in ambiguous environments, balance multiple competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Experience with freight operations, logistics networks, contract negotiations, and third-party integrations is highly valued.<br><br>This role requires a customer-obsessed leader who can think big while diving deep into operational details, someone who can build scalable processes and drive innovation across the freight network. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of Amazon Freight operations and make a significant impact on how we serve our customers and partners.<br><br>A day in the life<br><br>Your day begins reviewing operational metrics and resolving carrier performance issues impacting customer deliveries. You facilitate cross-functional sessions with Surface, product, Sales and operations teams to align on freight forwarder integrations, presenting six-page narratives with business cases and success metrics. Afternoons include business reviews with Directors, showcasing data-driven results like XX% coverage improvements and YY% cost reductions. You manage stakeholder meetings across Ship with Amazon, legal, and finance teams while mentoring junior program managers. Your work directly impacts millions of customers, balancing strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment.<br><br><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> 2+ years of program or project management experience</li><li> 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System program experience</li><li> 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries experience</li><li> 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience</li><li> Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) full time experience</li><li> Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology</li><li> Experience in MS Access and SQL</li><li> Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document</li><li> Experience using Microsoft Projects software</li><li> Experience with material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation and maintenance</li><li> Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams<br><br></li></ul>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
