BJC is hiring for a Technology Project Manager. This role involves managing Epic 1 projects. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Project Manager in Healthcare and IT. This is a remote position, but we are looking for candidates from the local area. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Technology Project Manager is responsible to leading and solving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored, and controlled using technology project management processes and methodologies to deliver capabilities that meet the stakeholder needs. The individual will be responsible for leading strategic efforts to define the scope of the project as it relates to the overall business objectives and communicates effectively the status of the project to the respective stakeholders. Must be able to foresee and elimate possible risks and ensure the success of a project (resources/scope/arenaflex/quality/time) for small/medium/large projects. Takes full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of the technology projects. Responsibilities • Provides effective leadership to the technology project team and adopts appropriate technology project management methods and tools. Manages the change control process and assesses and manages risks. Ensures that realistic project plans are maintained and delivers regular and accurate communication to stakeholders.Ensures project and product quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure. Ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed arenaflex, timescale and resource budgets, and are formally accepted, by appropriate stakeholders. Monitors costs, times, quality and resources used and takes action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances. • Leads activities required in the realization of the technology benefits of each part of the change program. Proactively manages risk and reward mechanisms in the contract and identifies and reports under-performance and develops opportunities for improvement.Monitors compliance with terms and conditions and takes appropriate steps to address non-compliance.
