About the Role

Insight Alpha is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Transcript Proofreader/Editor to ensure the accuracy, clarity, and compliance of expert consultation transcripts and specialist profiles. This role is critical in maintaining content quality, safeguarding compliance standards (including MNPI handling), and delivering high-quality, client-ready content under strict timelines.

The successful candidate will work closely with compliance, research, and operations teams to ensure that all published content adheres to internal guidelines, style standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proofread and edit expert profiles and consultation transcripts to ensure:
  • Grammatical accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Adherence to Insight Alpha style guides and editorial standards.
  • Compliance with internal policies, including MNPI and confidentiality requirements.
  • Review technical and industry-specific conversations for factual consistency and logical flow.
  • Ensure transcripts are suitable for client distribution and compliant with all regulatory and internal compliance requirements:
  • Identify, flag, and escalate:
  • Transcription errors
  • Factual inconsistencies
  • Potential compliance risks
  • Deviations from style or editorial guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Compliance, Research, Operations, Quality teams) to:
  • Validate critical information
  • Resolve content-related issues
  • Clarify ambiguities in transcripts
  • Deliver high-quality output within strict daily turnaround times in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactively resolve content and quality issues, making client-centric decisions while seeking guidance when required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of:
  • Internal editorial guidelines
  • Transcript review processes
  • Quality control frameworks
  • Support future content initiatives, including short-form editorial content, where required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Educational background in Law, Finance, or Economics.
  • Prior experience of 1-3 years in transcript editing, compliance content review, financial research publishing, legal documentation, or professional editorial environments is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
  • Strong knowledge of editorial best practices and proofreading standards.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to detect subtle errors, inconsistencies, and compliance risks.
  • Excellent research and fact-checking abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally and diplomatically across teams.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict daily deadlines consistently.
  • Comfortable working with technical, financial, and industry-specific subject matter.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)

  • Prior experience in:
  • Compliance screening or regulatory content review
  • Legal documentation or contract proofreading
  • Financial report preparation and proofreading
  • Research, consulting, or financial content publishing environments
  • Familiarity with:
  • MNPI handling standards
  • Financial markets terminology
  • Corporate governance and regulatory frameworks
  • Style guides and structured editorial workflows
  • Experience working in knowledge services, expert networks, consulting firms, or financial research organizations is an advantage.
