Role: Python Developer – LLM & AI Integrations

Client: Leading Bank in the UAE

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Work Mode: Onsite

Role Overview

A leading bank in the UAE is seeking skilled Python Developers with hands-on experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise systems. The role focuses on building secure, scalable backend services and AI-enabled applications aligned with banking and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python expertise, practical exposure to LLM frameworks, and experience working in integration-heavy, enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python for AI-driven and data-intensive applications.

· Integrate LLM models (e.g., Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Hugging Face, or similar) into enterprise workflows.

· Build and optimize REST APIs and microservices supporting AI use cases such as chatbots, document intelligence, search, and automation.

· Implement prompt engineering, orchestration logic, and AI workflow management.

· Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements typical of banking environments.

· Collaborate with architects, data teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.

· Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot AI services in production environments.

· Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Required Skills & Experience

· Strong hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).

· Experience integrating LLMs into real-world applications (RAG, embeddings, prompt workflows, or AI agents).

· Solid understanding of API design, microservices, and system integration.

· Experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent.

· Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).

· Good understanding of production-grade logging, monitoring, and error handling.

· Willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi.

Preferred / Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated industries.

· Knowledge of security best practices, data protection, and access control.

· Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

· Understanding of AI governance and responsible AI practices.

Experience Level

Flexible, candidates with mixed experience levels from junior to senior level are encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate strong Python fundamentals and hands-on LLM integration experience.
