Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manual Testing Consultant to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality analysis and manual testing, with a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 9 years of experience in the field. This role requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology, and a passion for ensuring software quality through meticulous testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, document, and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Collaborate with development teams to understand software features and provide feedback on the usability and functionality.

Participate in requirement analysis and provide input on testability of requirements.

Create and maintain detailed documentation of test results, defects, and testing processes.

Work closely with other QA team members to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.

Assist in regression testing and perform re-testing of resolved defects.

Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies and tools to enhance QA processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology is required.

6 to 9 years of experience in manual testing and quality assurance.

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

Proficient in designing and executing test cases.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Familiarity with defect tracking tools is a plus.
