Our staff members are proud to live and work in this area, and are committed to providing quality healthcare to our community.<br /><br /> Summary: The Receptionist Scheduler is responsible to perform a wide variety of duties to include kindly greeting patients, scheduling and coordinating patient procedures for Radiology according to department protocols while ensuring an environment which promotes a positive patient experience. <br /> Qualifications <p> Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Computer skills required. Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced computer skills preferred. <br /><br /> Experience: </p><ul><li>Two (2) years- experience in a hospital or health care related field.</li><li>Greater than two (2) years- experience in a hospital or health care related field, preferably radiology.</li></ul><p> Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: </p><ul><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to make independent decisions within his/her area of responsibility. </li><li>Good verbal skills in the English language required daily. </li><li>Excellent telephone skills required. </li><li>Ability to learn use of all equipment necessary to perform job. </li><li>Excellent PC skills including data entry required. </li><li>Ability to adapt in fast paced, stressful environment. </li><li>Working knowledge of medical terminology to include diagnosis/CPT codes. </li><li>Accurate grammar, spelling and punctuation skills necessary. </li><li>Work is performed in accordance with instruction and procedures, but requires the ability to recognize problem situations and refer them to the appropriate staff member. </li></ul><p>We take great care of careers.</p><p>With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
