Role Summary

In collaboration with the Store Manager, The Reclectic Associate Store Manager supports all operations of the store, with emphasis on delivering an engaging retail experience while optimizing operational efficiency.


Role Responsibilities

Brand Growth + Expansion

  • Champions the Reclectic concept & contributes meaningfully to Brand strategy through the lens of Store & Visual Leadership
  • Supports Store Leadership recruitment, hiring, on-boarding and training efforts for all new stores
  • Assists in ideation for local & Brand-wide events that promote Brand identity & awareness, sustainability, and customer centricity
  • Assists in identifying any resources needed to support Reclectic Store Leadership education & development

Brand Experience

  • Emulates global URBN values while acting as a local representative of the Reclectic brand in their respective geography
  • Partners with the Leadership Team to create balance between engaging visuals and the productive use of space
  • Leads and supports the team to elevate every aspect of the store experience through efficient operations, merchandising, and presentation to create a compelling atmosphere
  • Cultivates a welcoming and inclusive environment to support an exceptional and genuine customer experience
  • Interpret and escalate customer feedback and team insights to positively improve the Reclectic experience and operation.
  • Engages the community by networking with local businesses and organizations to identify potential collaboration opportunities

Leadership + Team Management

  • Exhibits critical thinking skills, maintains a solutions-based mindset, and is comfortable in fluid situations. Approaches business challenges tactically and collaborates with appropriate partners to resolve timely.

Visual + Business Operations

  • Supports ideation of Brand Operational SOPs that emphasize efficiency and productivity to drive store profitability.
  • Assesses business and product sell-through to identify store successes and opportunities; effectively leads an empowered team to make strategic, creative, business-impacting decisions
  • Oversees and collaborates with key partners to lead productive execution of store processes; prioritizes shipment and optimizes product flow to efficiently impact sell-through, sales, and customer experience
  • Maintains a well-organized, clean and presentable building and champions timely escalation of facilities/maintenance issues
  • Upholds effective scheduling practices and ensure accuracy of payroll and compliance with local labor legislation

Role Qualifications

  • Passion for Reclectic brand and concept
  • Embodies an entrepreneurial spirit
  • 5+ years store leadership experience: high volume experience required
  • Proven record of hiring and developing great talent 
  • Strong understanding of merchant process and ways it impacts the business 
  • Experience in coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution 
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays
