It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction – from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives. <br><br><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>The Refurbishing Coordinator supports the operations and sales teams in preparation for sales. The Refurbishing Coordinator will have an office based in the yard office.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate all auction and non-auction refurb activities</li><li>Coordinate with as many as 10 mechanics at any given time (vendors)</li><li>Manage and schedule paint vendor, seat vendor, and glass vendor</li><li>Communicates with all Territory Managers, Customers/ Consigners and suggests refurb needed on all equipment</li><li>Work with the Equipment Manager to coordinate picturing of finished items</li><li>May be called upon, when there are no inspectors onsite, the coordinator will need to inspect equipment so they can do work orders</li><li>Manage work orders and completion of all items in a sale (lot size varies)</li><li>Handle all Strategic Account work orders for sale and private treaty</li><li>Track all invoices to make sure they are on the cost sheets</li><li>Review cost sheets to make sure they are accurate and all work is accounted for</li><li>Handle all mechanical issues after the sale in a timely manner</li><li>Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned<br><br></li></ul><strong><br> <br>Qualifications <br><br></strong><ul><li>Must have: 2+ years of mechanical or service background</li><li>High school graduate or GED equivalent</li><li>Strong time-management skills and able to proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision</li><li>Work well in a team environment</li><li>Work in physical environment requiring the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions</li><li>May be requested to work overtime and weekends during peak auction periods</li><li>Grow Auction and Non-auction refurb by 10 percent each quarter</li></ul>
