RSM - Exmark/Spartan

Implement sales and marketing efforts to achieve market leadership and ensure compliance from Distributors/Dealers with company expectations.

What Will You Do?

To thrive and build a successful career with The Toro Company, your responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving or surpassing sales goals for your designated area
  • Building strong business relationships with distributors and dealers who are professional, goal-oriented, and financially competent
  • Collaborating with distributor management to devise effective sales and marketing programs
  • Ensuring adequate inventory of whole goods, service parts, and accessories at distributor warehouses
  • Holding quarterly reviews with distributors on performance metrics, service standards, customer relations, advertising, sales promotions, financial indicators, and forecasting
  • Creating an annual business/activity plan with each distributor to direct sales and marketing strategies for the fiscal year
  • Providing product and sales training to distributor staff using the latest sales tools and technologies
  • Clearly communicating brand initiatives and setting expectations with assigned distributors
  • Keeping business leadership informed about channel issues, competitive promotions, and industry updates
  • Addressing and resolving channel challenges involving distributors, dealerships, and end-users
  • Representing our brands at trade shows, distributor/dealer events, and training sessions
  • Upholding high ethical standards and integrity
  • Other assigned tasks

What Do You Need?
To be eligible for this role, you should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but a high school diploma is required
  • RSM I needs 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in the industry
  • RSM II requires 8+ years of professional experience, with some industry knowledge
  • Ability to build long-term business relationships
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Availability to travel, including overnight and some weekends
  • Skills in handling equipment logistics
  • Self-motivation and willingness to work long hours
  • Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and mapping software
  • Residency within the designated territory
