REMOTE BOOKKEEPER (Training Provided - No Experience )

Role Summary & Responsibilities The Remote Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining the financial records of clients, ensuring accuracy, and providing critical financial reports. Key Functions (Action-Oriented Duties): - Setup & Maintenance: Establish and maintain clients’ accurate Chart of Accounts (COA). - Data Processing: Perform meticulous data entry for all revenues, expenses, liabilities, and assets. - Quality Control: Conduct daily bookkeeping reviews to guarantee accuracy and completeness. - Reconciliation: Complete monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile income spreadsheets against deposits. - Closing: Execute comprehensive month-end closings and preparation. - Reporting: Generate timely and accurate monthly financial reports for clients and internal use. - Problem Solving: Follow up professionally via email to reclassify uncategorized items and resolve discrepancies. - Project Work: Perform specialized clean-up/catch-up work on existing financial records. - A/P & A/R: Prepare, verify, classify, and record accounts payable and accounts receivable data. - Payroll Support: Review and break down payroll documents to ensure accuracy.
