[Remote] Clinical Informatics Analyst (Post Acute / Therapies)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Community Health Systems is seeking a Clinical Informatics Senior to provide expertise in the design, implementation, and optimization of clinical information systems. This role collaborates with clinical and IT teams to enhance patient care and improve workflow efficiency through technology.


Responsibilities

  • Leads detailed workflow mapping and gap analysis across complex clinical environments
  • Designs and executes comprehensive validation and testing strategies for system changes and optimizations
  • Serves as subject matter expert during go‑live, adoption, and stabilization phases
  • Guides teams through change management processes and ensures stakeholder alignment
  • Mentors P1–P2 informaticists on workflow analysis, testing, and deliverable quality
  • Maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements, data standards, and industry best practices in clinical informatics, applying them to system design and management for the specialty area
  • Analyzes data and performance metrics to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Serves as a liaison between clinical departments and IT, ensuring that clinical needs are represented in system development and deployment

Skills

  • 5-8 years of experience in clinical informatics or a related field for specified position required
  • 1-3 years of experience in a senior or lead role
  • Advanced understanding of clinical workflow design, optimization, and process improvement
  • Strong skills in test planning, validation, and troubleshooting of clinical system functionality
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities to lead cross‑functional discussions
  • Ability to interpret data and present insights for decision‑making
  • Effective project coordination with the ability to lead portions of complex initiatives
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results independently
  • Professionalism and adaptability in dynamic clinical settings
  • Certification in Clinical Informatics (e.g., ANCC Informatics Nursing Certification, CAHIMS/CPHIMS) Oracle Health Cerner
