[Remote] Product Lead, Disputes & Scams

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cash App, a part of Block, is seeking a Product Lead for Disputes & Scams to enhance customer trust and resolution experiences. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to improve the disputes platform and ensure compliance while addressing transaction issues and scams.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across teams (engineering, design, analytics, and machine learning) to deliver customer-focused features that enhance trust and resolution outcomes
  • Define key metrics and work closely with analytics teams to interpret data, identify opportunities, and measure progress
  • Partner with compliance and legal teams to design solutions that meet regulatory requirements while enabling product growth
  • Establish scalable frameworks to unify dispute resolution processes across multiple payment products (e.g., Cash App Card, P2P, Afterpay)
  • Share responsibility for stakeholder alignment and cross-functional coordination to successfully deliver projects

Skills

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in product management, risk management, or comparable roles (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience building end-to-end solutions for ambiguous, cross-disciplinary problems
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks, especially for consumer-facing financial products
  • Ability to navigate complex datasets and collaborate with data and machine learning teams to define meaningful metrics and solutions
  • A collaborative approach to leadership, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
  • Experience driving innovative, scalable solutions for risk challenges while improving operational processes
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
