[Remote] Senior Epidemiologist, Epidemiology Forecasting

Collabera is an industry-leading organization seeking a Senior Epidemiologist to contribute to their Epidemiology Forecasting Center of Excellence. The role involves designing and executing epidemiologic studies to provide insights that support business strategy teams, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights. Responsibilities • Evaluate and synthesize epidemiology literature and present findings in clear written and oral formats. • Lead or collaborate on study development, including protocol creation and database analyses of claims and health record data. • Partner cross-functionally to gather information, conduct literature reviews, and prepare concise data summaries and recommendations. • Communicate study insights to epidemiology, commercial, and business partners to support strategic alignment. • Apply epidemiology research techniques to descriptive data including incidence, prevalence, mortality, real-world treatment patterns, and diagnosed or drug-treated population assessments. • Utilize public and private epidemiology data sources and analytical tools for modeling and data visualization. • Maintain high standards of accuracy, clarity, and traceability across all deliverables. • Generate tables, listings, and graphs for clinical and compound projects, ensuring validation, quality assurance, and accuracy of outputs. • Review validated outputs to meet the needs of clinical projects and support data-driven decision-making. Skills • Advanced degree in epidemiology, outcomes research, or a related scientific discipline. • Strong experience applying epidemiologic methods and working with diverse data sources. • Proven ability to design and conduct epidemiology studies including population sizing, projections, and patient funnel analyses. • Experience generating validated tables, listings, and graphs with SAS and ensuring high-quality outputs. • Three to five years of experience in epidemiology or related analytical roles. • Strong project management skills with a focus on accuracy, organization, and timely delivery. • Ability to produce concise, actionable insights for scientific and commercial stakeholders. • Strong collaboration skills for working across commercial and scientific functions. • Experience working in consulting or high-paced analytical environments. • Familiarity with observational data sources, standard of care research, and treatment pattern analyses. • Clinical experience supporting data interpretation.
