[Remote] Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting & Operations

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting & Operations to lead Superhuman’s revenue accounting function through a period of accelerated growth, evolving monetization, and increasing organizational complexity.


Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end close activities related to revenue recognition and commissions, ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful reporting of revenue results to management
  • Oversee billings and collections operations, ensuring timely invoicing, cash collection, and adherence to company policies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, Product, Financial Reporting, and Technical Accounting to streamline and continuously improve the end-to-end order-to-cash process
  • Manage multiple priorities concurrently in a detail-oriented environment without compromising quality, accuracy, or deadlines
  • Support new business initiatives, product launches, and evolving revenue models through thoughtful accounting analysis and operational execution
  • Own revenue-related audit areas, serving as a key point of contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders
  • Drive systems enhancements and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and data integrity
  • Lead ad hoc projects that support broader finance, accounting, and company-wide initiatives
  • Act as a subject-matter expert in revenue accounting and operations, taking full ownership of projects from initial analysis through implementation

Skills

  • Has 10+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Accounting, ideally within a high-growth technology or SaaS environment
  • Demonstrates strong operational and technical knowledge of US GAAP, with deep expertise in ASC 606
  • Holds an active CPA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Brings a combination of experience from both a SaaS technology company and a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Has hands-on experience with NetSuite and Salesforce. Knowledge of Stripe and cash applications is a plus
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and approaches challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Communicates complex accounting concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical partners
  • Is comfortable operating with ownership, accountability, and an enterprise-wide perspective
  • Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments
