Remote Technical Support Representative

We are hiring immediately for a remote technical support representative, which we call a remote service agent, to join our team of technology experts who install, fix, solve, and enhance technology products via phone and chat for clients across Canada! Join us at Geek Squad (the technical service organization of Best Buy Canada). We are looking for people just like you, to provide technical support to our clients. As a remote service agent, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of working from home while supporting our 24/7/365 business. Here’s what you can expect: Work up 24 hours per week over a maximum of 5 shifts Shifts are up to 8.5 hours, with varying start and end times Flexibility as business needs may fluctuate week to week As a remote technical support representative, you will create an amazing customer experience by: Performing product repair, troubleshooting, upgrades, installations, and other services using remote desktop software Providing tutorials to clients on the proper use of their products Identifying and recommending solutions based on customers’ needs Completing training to continuously improve the client experience What we are looking for: 1+ years of help desk or technical call centre experience Experience in troubleshooting and/or repairing devices Completion of high school diploma or equivalent Verbal and written proficiency in English Availability to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required Your home office comes equipped with: Computer with monitor, speakers, and anti-virus software.
