[Remote] Transformation Change Readiness Leader (remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RTX is a leading aerospace company seeking a visionary Enterprise Change Readiness Leader to support high-impact initiatives. In this role, you will partner with senior executives to drive organizational change, manage vendor relationships, and enhance change capability across teams.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Enterprise Change Leader and team, supporting and advising on cross-functional and enterprise change initiatives for Collins Transformation
  • Lead a team providing change consultation and advisory services for Collins' key initiatives
  • Act as a change consultant, offering thought leadership, strategic direction, and execution guidance
  • Manage external vendors and consulting partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and accountability for results
  • Foster collaboration across functions to deliver scalable, sustainable solutions aligned with enterprise strategy
  • Assess change readiness, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Coach leaders and teams to enhance change capability, stakeholder engagement, and communication effectiveness
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable change roadmaps with measurable outcomes
  • Oversee execution of the change management plan, ensuring adherence to timelines, identifying risks, and proposing mitigations
  • Must be willing and able to travel 30% of the time

Skills

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
  • 5+ years of direct experience in enterprise change management, consulting, or transformation roles
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams
  • Demonstrated experience driving large-scale change across complex organizations with complex product/service offerings and global footprint
  • Must be willing and able to travel 30% of the time
  • Certification in PMP, Prosci, or equivalent change management methodology
  • Experience in manufacturing, factory, or multi-site operations within a complex enterprise
  • Expertise in implementing workforce planning tools and processes
  • Proven success in leading transformation initiatives
  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, and sound judgment
  • Ability to influence, coach without authority, and build trust across organizations
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity with a bias for action
