About the role: Whop is building institution-grade financial infrastructure for the next generation of digital entrepreneurship. We're hiring a sales rep to expand Whop into the German market - onboarding the fastest-growing digital businesses onto Whop Payments Network. You'll sell our payments rails and get businesses to use Whop for both pay-ins and payouts. You can learn more about Whop Payments Network here.

This role will report to the Head of Partnerships.

Scope:

  • Onboard businesses doing < $25M/yr in revenue across the German market.
  • Own the end-to-end deal cycle from sourcing the first call to deal being live on platform generating revenue.
  • Responsible for sourcing & prospecting leads within Germany's digital business ecosystem - paid communities, coaching & courses, agencies, digital products, and more.
  • Willing to travel anywhere in Germany (and beyond) to meet with prospective customers.
  • Focus on one segment to onboard as much GMV/GP as possible.
  • Work closely with product to ensure we're building for the needs of German creators and businesses.
  • Be Whop's eyes and ears in Germany - surfacing market insights, competitive dynamics, and localization needs back to the team.

What we're looking for:

  • Cracked
  • Track record of building internet businesses - bonus if you've done it within the German creator/digital products ecosystem
  • Native or fluent German speaker with strong English proficiency
  • Deep understanding of Germany's digital business landscape - you know who the big creators are, which platforms they use, and where the market is headed
  • Prev sales experience is nice but not a requirement
  • Extremely curious & personable
  • World class work ethic
  • Ability to identify peer groups instantly and understand how to navigate them
  • Strong communication skills and instant response times

Your first 90 days will look like the following:

  • Within 30 days, you will deeply study our materials, map the German market opportunity, and have initial deals moving through the funnel.
  • Within 60 days, you will have deals beginning to close and a clear playbook for the Germany market taking shape.
  • Within 90 days, you will have closed $3M in total GMV, ready for bigger deals.
