Job Description

Clean Harbors is hiring for a Project Services Business Development Manager. In this role you will be responsible for growing, expanding and maintaining a specific line of business. Serves as point of contact for all customers interested in contracting specific service/product. If the customer already has an assigned Account Manager, this position will act as support specialist; otherwise, will be the primary owner of that relationship.

Responsibilities
  • Promote revenue and margin growth;
  • sell products and services to clients in specific LOB;
  • negotiate and draft contracts; scope and quote projects in LOB of expertise;
  • promote knowledge development and dissemination;
  • learn continually about LOB of expertise;
  • formalize knowledge about LOB of expertise for broader dissemination;
  • support training of other sales personnel in their LOB of expertise;
  • send inputs and review sales budget for accounts under responsibility;
  • develop account plans for important customers;
  • monitor progress in sales and P&L goals;
  • work in tandem with other salespeople to increase cross-sell
  • Ensure customer satisfaction;
  • interact with operations and customer service to deliver exceptional service to clients;
  • handle dispute and conflicts and troubleshoot with clients;
  • deliver effective contract and relationship management;
  • lead contract management and revenue collection from customers, document necessary customer information and interaction
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required; business administration/related;
  • Previous sales experience required;
  • ability to prioritize highest-opportunity accounts; numerically literate, understands industry and company;
  • selling and negotiation, understands and follows through on client needs; leverages organization resources;
  • relationship building;
  • displays effective written, oral, and interpersonal skills;
  • displays professionalism and courtesy
  • accountability for completing job responsibilities;
  • supports other team members
  • Ability to travel between 25-50% of the time.
