This role goes beyond traditional reporting, it involves full ownership of business problems, from identifying critical questions to delivering data-driven solutions and ensuring actions are implemented based on insights. The ideal candidate is both technically strong and business-savvy, capable of working autonomously while engaging stakeholders in adopting a data-informed culture.</p><p></p><p><strong>What You’ll be Doing</strong></p><p>This role exists to empower the business with reliable, timely, and actionable data insights that directly impact key decisions.</p><p>Critical outcomes for the next 6-12 months include:<br>1. Developing and deploying self-service BI dashboards that are actively used by stakeholders across departments.<br>2. Delivering data models and insights that directly influence strategic decisions.<br>3. Establishing a proactive analytics culture where stakeholders seek and apply data in decision-making.<br><br>Core Responsibilities:<br>• Proactively identify business opportunities and challenges that can be addressed with data.<br>• Identify the best methods for data visualization to provide meaningful insights.<br>• Build and ship self-service data models and reports that drive weekly business decisions.<br>• Own the full analytics lifecycle without requiring management intervention.<br>• Drive action based on insights, not just deliver reports.<br>• Continuously educate stakeholders on data-informed decision making.</p><p><strong>What You will need for this position</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI development, or a similar role.<br>• Proven ability to own analytics projects end-to-end, from scoping to implementation.<br>• Strong technical skills in SQL, data modeling, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).<br>• Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.<br>• Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights.<br>• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.</p><p><strong>Key Metrics </strong></p><p>Delivery of at least three high-impact BI dashboards adopted by business stakeholders in the first year.<br>• Demonstrable improvement in decision-making speed and quality across departments.<br>• Increase in self-service analytics adoption rate by at least 30% within 12 months.<br>• Positive stakeholder feedback on data accessibility and usefulness.<br><br><strong>Who You'll Be Working with:</strong></p><p>Directly reporting to our Senior Staff Data Scientist, and closely working with our Technology Team.</p><p><strong>About the team</strong></p><p>Our team is collaborative, positive, curious, and engaged.
