The Senior Director, Brand Marketing, Meetings and Events will lead the strategic vision and operational execution of Equifax most critical global corporate events, ensuring they drive business objectives and reinforce a \"One Equifax\" experience. This leader will oversee the Corporate Meetings, Events and Sport Sponsorship functions, delivering flawless, best-in-class experiences for our Board of Directors, SLT, employees, and customers. You will provide high-level leadership to modernize our events function, integrating new technologies and best practices to elevate the attendee experience. While overseeing the fulfillment of our Sports Marketing assets, your primary focus will be on the strategic management of high-visibility customer hosting programs , ensuring operational excellence, fiscal responsibility, and executive alignment. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing, this position offers the flexibility to work remotely two days a week, or from either our offices in Alpharetta or Midtown, Atlanta GA. (This is not a fully-remote role). This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of event and meeting planners professionals to execute a complex portfolio of global events, ranging from C-Suite/Board meetings to large-scale employee recognition programs.
  • Partner directly with the SLT and C-Suite to define the strategic vision for major corporate events, ensuring content and logistics align with Equifax business priorities and growth strategies.
  • Oversee the Sports Customer hosting function to ensure elevated customer programs and effective brand visibility within our sponsorship portfolio, while ensuring these activities remain aligned with broader corporate goals.
  • Collaborate deeply with the Creative and Brand Strategy leadership to ensure all events and experiences seamlessly reflect the corporate brand standards and narrative.
  • Drive operational excellence by modernizing event processes, implementing AI and new technologies where appropriate, and managing complex budgets and vendor relationships to maximize ROI.
  • Demonstrate executive presence and crisis management leadership, ensuring \"flawless execution\" and rapid problem-solving behind the scenes during high-pressure situations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in corporate event management, brand marketing, or a related field, with specific experience working in-house at a large, complex enterprise.
  • Demonstrated track record of planning and executing high-touch, C-Suite, and Board of Director level meetings and events with extreme attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience negotiating and managing complex, high-value vendor contracts and multi-million dollar event budgets.
  • Advanced proficiency with productivity and project management tools (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.) to drive team efficiency.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams, specifically managing people managers or senior-level individual contributors.
  • Strategic agility: The ability to pivot quickly from high-level vision setting to logistical problem solving without losing sight of the business objective.
  • A collaborative leadership style that builds strong partnerships across matrixed functions (Creative, Communications, Legal, Security) to remove obstacles and drive results.

  • Experience within the FinTech, SaaS, Technology, or Financial Services industries, with an understanding of the regulatory and pace requirements of the sector.
