Job Scope We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Manager of Asset Management to actively contribute to the creation, development, and operations of the asset management function at Lydian. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing a portfolio of utility-scale solar and/or storage assets, ensuring they perform to the highest operational and financial standards. Reporting to the Director of Asset Management, you will be responsible for implementing best practices in asset oversight, supporting long-term value creation, and driving operational excellence across all managed assets. Responsibilities • Oversight of all contracted services on assigned assets, ensuring appropriate response times and guaranteed availability performance in compliance with service agreements. • Ensure compliance with all project’s governing documents including Power Purchase Agreements, O&M Agreements, Interconnection Agreements, land leases, etc. • Manage and resolve legal, contractual, regulatory, and commercial issues as they arise. • Fulfill any daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting obligations on assigned assets. • Monitor asset performance via centralized monitoring platform. • Develop overall business plans, including both P&L and Capital budgets for the assigned assets; report on monthly/quarterly/annual variances to budget. • Interface with equity partners, PPA off takers and other third parties as needed to ensure that issues are being resolved. • Communicate regularly with counterparties and respond promptly to all customer requests; find and implement solutions quickly and effectively. • Review and Monitor contractors' H&S policies and ensure they are complied with and prepare safety statistics and reports as needed. • Participate in the transition of new assets acquired or developed by M&A or Development into the portfolio. • Interface with internal teams to help identify, prioritize, and drive resolution to issues to improve performance and maximize asset value. • Help to streamline, automate, and improve processes related to reporting and compliance requirements. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline • Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset management roles, familiarity or experience with renewable energy project construction preferred • Experience with plant operations, substation protocol, regulatory compliance, contractual management, and financial and technical reporting on solar or storage assets • Knowledge of power market concepts, including physical and virtual PPAs, hedges, curtailment, SCED, basis risk, Resource Adequacy, power and commodity price curves, DART optimization, and RECs • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting and presentations • Efficient, diligent, and effective work ethic to accomplish key responsibilities promptly • Strong attention to detail to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple project tasks • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels • Team player with a flexible and collaborative approach to cross-functional work Equal Employment Opportunity We are committed to equal-employment principles and are dedicated to diversity and the strength it brings to the workplace.
