Job Purpose

To lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process for piping materials and equipment across all project phases—including FEED , Detailed Design , and EPC execution. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, technically compliant piping solutions for complex Offshore and Saudi Aramco projects while ensuring cost-efficiency and schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Project Integration: Coordinate with engineering teams during FEED and Detail Engineering phases to define piping deliverables and material take-offs (MTO). Aramco Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities and materials comply with Saudi Aramco Standards (SAMSS), specifications, and quality requirements. Technical Evaluation: Manage Material Requisitions (MR) and conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) to recommend technically compliant vendors for purchase orders. Strategic Sourcing: Identify and qualify global vendors for specialized offshore piping components, including long lead-time items. EPC Execution: Oversee the full EPC procurement cycle , from RFQ preparation and commercial negotiation to final order placement and expediting. Vendor Management: Review vendor documents and drawings to ensure integration into the design package and resolve any quality or technical discrepancies. Contract Management: Draft and manage complex supply contracts, performing risk assessments for any deviations in terms and conditions. LinkedIn +7

Key Skills & Qualifications

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in piping procurement specifically within the Oil & Gas EPC sector. Domain Expertise: Proven track record in Offshore projects (Platforms, FPSO, or Subsea) and strict adherence to Aramco standards . Phase Knowledge: Hands-on experience across FEED , Detail Design , and construction support phases. Standards Knowledge: Deep understanding of ASME (B31.3), API, and international piping codes. Software Awareness: Familiarity with 3D modeling review tools (S3D, E3D) to understand material requirements from design outputs.
